Installation Instructions

- You may need to trim the bottom side of the fill neck tube slightly so the baffle will slide inside.
- If you have room, drill your hole under the breather tube for maximum baffling potential.
- Make sure you have enough room under the breather tube to install the baffle. The baffle can extend into the valve cover if you have valvetrain clearance.
- Measure the distance from the bottom of the screw hole to the bottom of the baffle, and drill your hole that distance up the filler neck from the top of the valve cover. Make sure you have clearance under the breather tube before drilling. You may be able to cheat downward a 1/8″ or so if there are no clearance issues with your valvetrain. Make sure you will clear the breather tube on the inside if you are using a cobra or other than stock valve cover.
- If you have a numbered drill set, use a #9 drill for a close fit. Otherwise, a 13/64 is as close as you will be able to get. Drill a hole in a test piece before drilling your filler neck to test clearance.
- Apply some blue loctite to the threads of the provided screw to prevent screw from backing out and dropping the baffle into the engine.
- Apply some RTV under the head of the screw to prevent an oil leak.
- Refer to the video clips in the description for a demonstration of the install.
